I will never forget my first (calling) experience with philanthropy! It led me to embark on a journey — trying to bring awareness to the limelight – by shedding light on the social travesty that plagues the world! My path – allowed two non profits (Eco Africa Social Ventures & Infinite Family) – to forever change and shape my outlook on life.
You see, many of us take for granted — the basics (for survival) of life: like food, water, shelter – ignoring the fact that the scales aren’t balanced! Instead, we continue to be wasteful, while turning our face to the reality of our world!
Africa, the second largest country in the world – is plagued with disease, famine and overall sufferation – especially amongst the women. One of the biggest problems – are mothers who are HIV positive or have AIDS. The mission (m2m) is to empower and educate these mothers on ways to improve their health (mothers living with HIV), and caring for their children — putting them at the heart of efforts to eliminate pediatric AIDS.
“Our vision is a world in which babies are not infected with HIV and where mothers with HIV/AIDS live long and healthy lives” – m2m.
The goal:

To prevent transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies
- To improve the well-being of mothers by facilitating access to life-sustaining medical care
- To empower mothers living with HIV to overcome stigma and live positive and productive lives
As a cause ambassador – my duty is to alert the public – bringing exposure to the devastation – in hopes that we all can unite, to make social change. Step up and Stand Up for those who aren’t able to do it for themselves!
